Built in 1861 as a royal residence, used as the Wodeyars' durbar hall while the main palace was rebuilt after the 1897 fire, and now a gallery of Raja Ravi Varma oils and court portraits.

Look for Haldankar's 'Glow of Hope' (Lady with the Lamp).
